Pokret marks fallen heroes of battle of Padjene

On Saturday the 5th of December the Pokret Srpskih Četnika held the Dan Dinarske Divizije – Battle of Padjene memorial at SV Sava Church London where the fallen were remembered.


Afterwards at the Ravna Gora Hotel a banquet was served with Otac Dragan Lazić offering prayers. President of the Pokret, Momčilo Babić held a minute silence to remember all of our fallen heroes and talked about events in the build up to the battle of 1944. He then introduced our guest speaker Professor Oliver Antić who told us about his years of work to rehabilitate General Draža Mihailović and uncover the truth regarding his trial and execution in 1946. After the speech Professor Antić was presented with a gold Četnik Kokarda (badge) by Vladimir Janković.

Other guests included Colonel Nick Ilić from the British Army, Serbian Embassy Defence Attaché Saša Peroviđ, Dragana Tomasević from the Jasenovac & Holocaust Memorial Foundation and Vladimir Janković from the Ravnogorski Pokret in Serbia.
