КАКО ПАР СТОТИНА ЕКСТРЕМИСТА ЗАУЗИМА МИЛИОНСКЕ ГРАДОВЕ У ИРАКУ?

О опасној секташкој политици Багдада као производу америчких интереса и окупације

За многе је и даље велика мистерија како је могуће да је неколико хиљада – према појединим изворима, свега неколико стотина – припадника ИСИЛ заузело град од 1,6 милиона људи. Још је већа мистерија чињеница да се хиљаде припадника ирачке војске једноставно разбежало.

Постаје све очитије да у тој офензиви не учествују само ветерани ИСИЛ, који су знање и оружје донели из Сирије, већ да се, паралелно са офензивом, догађа и завера против прошиитске власти у Багдаду. Више извора сугерише да ИСИЛ има велику помоћ бивших официра распуштене ирачке војске из времена Садама Хусеина. Уколико су информације тачне, то је још један аргумент да за актуелни хаос заиста јесу највише криви агресори на Ирак из 2003, у првом реду САД и Британија. Наиме, САД су после окупације Ирака распустиле тадашњу ирачку војску а бројна високорангирана војна лица нашла су се без посла.

Данас ти исти људи вероватно помажу ИСИЛ, пошто с њима деле мржњу према Маликију и власти која већ десетак година контролише Ирак захваљујући америчкој окупацији. Наравно, чланови некадашње Садамове партије Баас не деле идеолошке ставове ИСИЛ, али овај савез – ако је заиста на снази – примарно је стратешке нарави. Неки чак мисле да ће бити у стању да заустави имплементацију ригорозних закона ИСИЛ на окупираним (према њима „ослобођеним”) територијима, што се у свим примерима показало као изузетно наивно.

Ко још подржава ИСИЛ? Очито и нека сунитска племена, тј. њихови племенски лидери који такође имају своје разлоге за анимозитет према Маликију. Али да ли је ово заиста секташки сукоб између шиитских власти и „сунитских побуњеника”, како неки медији тврде ових дана? Неки чак иду толико далеко у очитом настојању да скрену пажњу са чињенице да ситуација у Ираку јесте производ америчко-британске инвазије 2013, па тврде да се заправо ради о сукобу који „траје већ вековима”.

ФЕНОМЕН СТРАНКЕ АЛ-ДАВА

Данашњи састав Владе у Багдаду и није толико сектшаки како би се стекао утисак из појединих извештаја. Наиме, ирачки председник је сунитски Курд Џалал Талабани, а председник парламента арапски сунит Усама ал-Нуџаyфи. Али кључну функцију ипак има Нури ал-Малики, арапски шиит. Проблем није толико у Маликију колико у његовој позадини, тј. странци из које долази. Водећа странка Исламска дава странка (Исламски позив) свакако није политичка опција која би могла ујединити земљу у којој живи 65 одсто шиита и 35 одсто сунита. Зашто? Прво, ово није секуларна странка око које би се могли ујединити сви ирачки држављани, већ супротно.

Странку Ал-Дава основали су 1957. тадашњи ирачки шиитски лидери. Циљ странке је била промовија исламских вредности, али и борба против секуларизма и, на крају, стварање исламске државе Ирак. Кад имамо једну секташку странку која жели да створи теократску државу у земљи која је вишесекташка, то већ на почетку сугерише да неће изаћи на добро. Из саме странке Ал-Дава тврде и данас да имају и сунитске следбенике, али јасно је да се примарно ради о шиитској странци, далеко више шиитској него што је то на пример либанонски Хезболлах, чија се генерална идеологија заснива на отпору Израелу, и због тога у њихове редове много лакше приступају сунити.

Иранска Исламска револуција 1979. била је велика инспирација ирачком шиитском покрету Дава и сарадња са Техераном почиње већ тада. Али револуција у Ирану и успостављање религијске власти увелико је прошла због чињенице да је око 95 одсто становника Ирана шиитско. Копирати тако нешто на Ирак било би једноставно неизводиво, али припадници Дава нису одустајали од темељних идеја.

Дава каснијих година, кад један од лидера постаје данашњи премијер Нури Ал-Малики, постали кључна антисадам герила, борећи се против секуларне власти. Мада би требало истаћи да је Ирак под Садамом, упркос службено секуларном устројству, увелико фаворизирао ирачке суните, који су окупирали водеће функције и моћ у земљи. Арапски национализам увек је био постављен на добрим идеолошким претпоставкама, али његово провођење често је бивала кочено секташким предиспозицијама – то је био случај са ирачком странком Баат као и са сиријском владајућом странком Баат (мада се оне, упркос наизглед комплементарним идеологијама, никад нису превише волеле). У Ираку су мањински сунити под Садамом постајали нова владајућа класа, као што су у Сирији под Асадом старијим то постајали Алавити.

СУКОБ ТЕРОРИСТА СА САДАМОМ

Већ из ових примера јасно је да је за ове земље једино решење вођство које би било потпуно лишено секташких предиспозиција са нагласком на национално јединство или пак панарапски сентимент, али теорија и пракса готово увек се разилазе, па је тако и у овим земљама. Али, док арапски национализам барем у теорији заговара уједињење народа око идеје нације без секташких подела, покрети као што су исламистичка странка Дава никад не могу да доведу до националног јединства јер они су већ у самој основи усмерени према интересима једне секте.

Ако притом још узмемо у обзир да су у Ираку сунити (тј. сунитска владајућа политичка класа, не народ) деценијама били привилегована мањина под Садамом, јасно је како је долазак секташке странке на власт за њих велики шок, који ствара анимозитет, па и отпор.

Дава није никаква мировна странка, то што се данас представљају тако исто је као што су се и Муслиманска браћа у Египту представљала као некакви „модерни умерени исламисти”, док заправо оба покрета имају упориште у герилском и терористичком ратовању. Дава су своје седиште пребацили у Техеран одмах по избијању Револуције у Ирану 1979. Две године касније извели су терористички бомбашки напад на ирачку амбасаду у Бејруту – ово ће бити тек први у низу њихових међународних напада. Један од већих је напад на Америчку амбасаду у Кувајту 1983. Један од нападача Џамал Џафар Мохамед данас је посланик у ирачком парламенту.

За време Ирачко-иранског рата 80-тих година, у коме су САД чврсто стајале на страни Садама Хусеина, Дава је извела низ напада на територију Ирака и покушала атентат на Садама више пута. Занимљиво је да је Садам погубљен вешањем због масакра у Дуџаилу, али тај исти масакр десио се као одмазда за Давин покушај атентата на њега. Очекивано, САД су покрет Дава тих година водиле као терористичку организацију.

Дава је створена и као противтежа сунитској Муслиманској браћи, странци која је већ почетком друге половине 20. века почела да бележи велику популарност. Садам се жестоко обрачунао са припадницима Даве, они тврде да је побио више од 200.000 њихових чланова, присталица и чланова њихових породица. Колике су стварне бројке биле тешко је рећи, али да се вршила систематска екстерминација шиитских исламиста у Ираку под вођством Хусеина, у то нема никакве сумње.

МАЛИКИ И НАЦИОНАЛНО УЈЕДИЊЕЊЕ

Све се нагло окреће америчком инвазијом на Ирак 2003. и рушењем Садама Хусеина. САД су веома добро знале која идеологија стоји иза странке Дава, али, упркос томе, помогли су им да дођу на власт. Иронично је да данас Обама и други амерички функционери понављају из дана у дан да је Малики „разочарао” јер није провео национално уједињење (!). Како је могао ако је представник политичке опције која у свом програму нема тих основа? Американци су знали да ће инсталација прошиитске странке пре или касније довести до новог или перманентног каоса у Ираку. Јачање секташких тензија у комбинацији са демократијом је катастрофалан исход за земљу јер у ситуацији секташких тензија припадници одређене секте (или било које друге припадности) имају тенденцију да своје гласове дају управо тим представницима. Другим речима, пошто је Ирак 65 одсто шиитска земља, Дава уз помоћ демократије може да остане на власти наизглед бесконачно, а сунити то могу само да гледају и трпе.

То је катастрофалан исход за земљу која је прошла крвави рат и окупацију. Нема сумње да је Вашингтон знао шта ће се Ираку десити ако помогне да на власт дођу Малики и Дава. Зашто су то учинили? Разлог је једноставан: јачањем секташке тензије Ирак више нема никакве шансе да се опорави и постане снажна уједињена држава.

Велика већина ирачких сунита нема никакве симпатије према назадним идеологијама ИСИЛ и сличних фундаменталистичких покрета којима се, зовући их сунитским, придаје потпуно погрешна конотација. Али тачно је да у тренутку великог анимозитета према Маликију, нарочито пошто имају осећај да се против њега не могу борити никаквим другим средствима, има и оних који ће поздравити долазак ИСИЛ као заиста очајничке мере отпора против власти у Багдаду.

Ирачки сунити су покушали да своје проблеме искаћу на све расположиве начине, од политичких до масовних мирних демонстрација. Ништа није помогло, Малики је имао чврсту подршку САД и било је немогуће маћи га. Да ствар буде још гора, Малики је послао снаге безбедности да разбију сунитске протесте на западу земље, у провинцији Анбар, када је дошло и до убијања цивила.

Таква ситуација била је као створена за Ал Каиду и сличне екстремистичке покрете. Ово је тренутак у кме се за њих отвара велика арена у којој могу загосподарити – и то су учинили, пажљиво бирајући кључни тренутак, ескалацију анимозитета после још једних избора у којима је Малики потврдио своју власт. Треба имати на уму и да ИСИЛ у свој својој бруталности пажљиво води и ПР кампању и настоји да се додвори сунитима који стану уз њих – организују хуманитарне акције, објављују видео-снимке на којима чисте улице и помажу становницима. Велики део сунита ипак никад неће прихватити овакву опцију – слично им се већ догодило пре десетак година, кад је Ал Каида први пут ојачала у Ираку.

Блаћење сунита, проглашених „опасном сектом”, која фаворизује тероризам, провлачило се кроз медије као резултат подизања секташких анимозитета са предумишљајем или хроничног непознавања прилика на Блиском Истоку. Узмимо као пример Египат, где су становници заиста дали прилику тзв. „умереним исламистима”, Муслиманској браћи, да би их свега после годину дана срушили са власти у најмасовнијим протестима у новијој историји.

ВЕЛИКА КОЛОНИЈАЛНА ЛАЖ

Још бољи пример је Сирија, где је чак 74 одсто популације сунитско а свега 13 шиитско и алавитско. Зар ико данас озбиљно може да тврди да би се Сирија тако моћно одупирала огромном нападу екстремизма да су сви или чак већина од ових 74 одсто сунита подржавало ИСИЛ или друге милитанте који се налазе на страној платној листи? Тај исти ИСИЛ, који је у Сирији после више година борби стеран на ретко насељене делове на истоку земље у сусједном Ираку (који има свега 35 одсто сунита), за мање од недељу дана заузео је низ кључних градова.

Ове контрадикције не могу да остану само попратна статистика, то су живи докази да је секташка ратна предиспозиција једна велика пропагандна лаж неоколонијалистичких сила, које желе да господаре Блиским Истоком по принципу којим су господарили и Африком (сетимо се како се пре 20 година кокетирање са политичким унутрашњим поделама завршило у једној Руанди).

На Блиском Истоку постоје докази који нам потврђују да се секташки анимозитети могу превладати. Што је било пре више векова било је пре више векова, они који историјске сукобе на тим просторима увлаче у контекст данашњих конфликата раде то са предумишљајем подизања тензија. Ти сукоби избијају онда кад долази до спољњег уплитања – САД су разбиле ирачку државу и на њеним рушевинама изградили нову која ће им бити лојална, притом су се – логично, пошто их је већина сунита презирала јер су им срушили њима наклоњену власт – одлучили за шиите, Маликија и некада герилско-терористичку а касније „умерено исламску” странку Ал-Дава.

Неки ће рећи да у уплитању итекако учествују опречне „тешке категорије” Блиског Истока – са једне стране, Саудијска Арабија, са друге, Иран. То је тачно, ове земље се свакако боре за утицај, али ни једна без уплитања Запада не би била у стању да проузрокује овакав ниво хаоса, какав данас гледамо у Ираку и Сирији.

Имајући у виду све ове детаље, шта се може рећи о блиској будућности Ирака? Малики јесте проблем, али не зато што је он шиит, већ зато што је секташ. Још увек је користан за САД, превише је новца утучено у Ирак да би се сад све то бацило. Вашингтон неће никад дозволити пад Багдада, па су у том циљу спремни да сарађују и са својим дојучерашњим мрским непријатељем Ираном.

Напад на ИСИЛ у овом тренутку, колико год он жесток био, неће зауставити конфликт у Ираку јер он је дубљи од самог ИСИЛ. Морамо истаћи да ово јесте офензива ИСИЛ, али он није створио конфликт, већ је само упао у њега у погодном тренутку.

Ствар су највише закували Американци, подржавајући секташку власт, јер им је тада одговарала. Зашто им је одговарала баш шиитска власт? Зато што су им били најлојалнији – ипак их је САД решио мрског им Садама Хусеина. Јесу ли САД искрене кад кажу да би Малики требало да води политику националног јединства? Можда, а можда то говоре само како се не би замерили сунитима и њиховим савезницима у Заливу. Али, ако ико зна да Малики и његова политичка елита национално јединство једноставно немају у свом ДНК, онда су то САД.

А, ако је коначни циљ перманентни хаос, онда творци хаоса могу да буду веома задовољни јер се две некад снажне арапске земље Ирак и Сирија налазе у стању великог хаоса, с тим да ће се Сирија извући и постати огледни пример националног јединства које превазилази секташке линије – нарочито ако Асад увиди сопствене и грешке свог оца и приближи арапски национализам ближе основним идеалима. За Ирак се не може бити оптимистичан јер, док се за Сирију може јасно исцртати пут напред, Ирак у овој ситуацији уопште нема светло на хоризонту. Наравно, многи ће заговарати дезинтеграцију, распад на секташке мини-државе, колонијалистичку храну, као што су испланирали и „Алавитску државу” на обали Латакије у Сирији, али то је најгори сценарио, никако не решење коме би требало тежити.

JERUSALEM – Members of the Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant, or ISIS, were trained in 2012 by U.S. instructors working at a secret base in Jordan, according to informed Jordanian officials.

The officials said dozens of ISIS members were trained at the time as part of covert aid to the insurgents targeting the regime of Syrian President Bashar al-Assad in Syria. The officials said the training was not meant to be used for any future campaign in Iraq.

The Jordanian officials said all ISIS members who received U.S. training to fight in Syria were first vetted for any links to extremist groups like al-Qaida.

In February 2012, WND was first to report the U.S., Turkey and Jordan were running a training base for the Syrian rebels in the Jordanian town of Safawi in the country’s northern desert region.

That report has since been corroborated by numerous other media accounts.

Last March, the German weekly Der Spiegel reported Americans were training Syrian rebels in Jordan.

Quoting what it said were training participants and organizers, Der Spiegel reported it was not clear whether the Americans worked for private firms or were with the U.S. Army, but the magazine said some organizers wore uniforms. The training in Jordan reportedly focused on use of anti-tank weaponry.

The German magazine reported some 200 men received the training over the previous three months amid U.S. plans to train a total of 1,200 members of the Free Syrian Army in two camps in the south and the east of Jordan.

Britain’s Guardian newspaper also reported last March that U.S. trainers were aiding Syrian rebels in Jordan along with British and French instructors.

Reuters reported a spokesman for the U.S. Defense Department declined immediate comment on the German magazine’s report. The French foreign ministry and Britain’s foreign and defense ministries also would not comment to Reuters.

The Jordanian officials spoke to WND amid concern the sectarian violence in Iraq will spill over into their own country as well as into Syria.

ISIS previously posted a video on YouTube threatening to move on Jordan and “slaughter” King Abdullah, whom they view as an enemy of Islam.

WND reported last week that, according to Jordanian and Syrian regime sources, Saudi Arabia has been arming the ISIS and that the Saudis are a driving force in supporting the al-Qaida-linked group.

WND further reported that, according to a Shiite source in contact with a high official in the government of Iraqi Prime Minister Nouri al-Maliki, the Obama administration has been aware for two months that the al-Qaida-inspired group that has taken over two Iraqi cities and now is threatening Baghdad also was training fighters in Turkey.

The source told WND that at least one of the training camps of the group Iraq of the Islamic State of Iraq and the Syria, the ISIS, is in the vicinity of Incirlik Air Base near Adana, Turkey, where American personnel and equipment are located.

He called Obama “an accomplice” in the attacks that are threatening the Maliki government the U.S. helped establish through the Iraq war.

The source said that after training in Turkey, thousands of ISIS fighters went to Iraq by way of Syria to join the effort to establish an Islamic caliphate subject to strict Islamic law, or Shariah.

When a fire is raging, firefighters are called – not the arsonist who started it, especially if they return to the scene of the crime dragging a barrel of gasoline behind them. Yet, this is precisely what the US proposes – that they – the geopolitical arsonists – be allowed to return to Iraq to extinguish the threat of heavily armed sectarian militants streaming from NATO territory in Turkey and edging ever closer to Baghdad.

ISIS: Made in USA

The Islamic State in Iraq and Syria (ISIS) is a creation of the United States and its Persian Gulf allies, namely Saudi Arabia, Qatar, and recently added to the list, Kuwait. The Daily Beast in an article titled, “America’s Allies Are Funding ISIS,” states:

The Islamic State of Iraq and Syria (ISIS), now threatening Baghdad, was funded for years by wealthy donors in Kuwait, Qatar, and Saudi Arabia, three U.S. allies that have dual agendas in the war on terror.

Despite the candor of the opening sentence, the article would unravel into a myriad of lies laid to obfuscate America’s role in the creation of ISIS. The article would claim:

The extremist group that is threatening the existence of the Iraqi state was built and grown for years with the help of elite donors from American supposed allies in the Persian Gulf region. There, the threat of Iran, Assad, and the Sunni-Shiite sectarian war trumps the U.S. goal of stability and moderation in the region.

However, the US goal in the region was never “stability” and surely not “moderation.” As early as 2007, sources within the Pentagon and across the US intelligence community revealed a conspiracy to drown the Middle East in sectarian war, and to do so by arming and funding extremist groups including the Muslim Brotherhood and Al Qaeda itself. Published in 2007 – a full 4 years before the 2011 “Arab Spring” would begin – Pulitzer Prize-winning journalist Seymour Hersh’s New Yorker article titled, “”The Redirection: Is the Administration’s new policy benefiting our enemies in the war on terrorism?” stated specifically (emphasis added):

To undermine Iran, which is predominantly Shiite, the Bush Administration has decided, in effect, to reconfigure its priorities in the Middle East. In Lebanon, the Administration has coöperated with Saudi Arabia’s government, which is Sunni, in clandestine operations that are intended to weaken Hezbollah, the Shiite organization that is backed by Iran. The U.S. has also taken part in clandestine operations aimed at Iran and its ally Syria. A by-product of these activities has been the bolstering of Sunni extremist groups that espouse a militant vision of Islam and are hostile to America and sympathetic to Al Qaeda.

The 9 page, extensive report has since been vindicated many times over with revelations of US, NATO, and Persian Gulf complicity in raising armies of extremists within Libya and along Syria’s borders. ISIS itself, which is claimed to occupy a region stretching from northeastern Syria and across northern and western Iraq, has operated all along Turkey’s border with Syria, “coincidentally” where the US CIA has conducted years of “monitoring” and arming of “moderate” groups.

In fact, the US admits it has armed, funded, and equipped “moderates” to the tune of hundreds of millions of dollars. In a March 2013 Telegraph article titled, “US and Europe in ‘major airlift of arms to Syrian rebels through Zagreb’,” it was reported that a single program included 3,000 tons of weapons sent in 75 planeloads paid for by Saudi Arabia at the bidding of the United States. The New York Times in its article, “Arms Airlift to Syria Rebels Expands, With C.I.A. Aid,” admits that the CIA assisted Arab governments and Turkey with military aid to terrorists fighting in Syria constituting hundreds of airlifts landing in both Jordan and Turkey.

The vast scale of US, NATO, and Arab aid to terrorists fighting in Syria leaves no doubt that the conspiracy described by Hersh in 2007 was carried out in earnest, and that the reason Al Qaeda groups such as Al Nusra and ISIS displaced so-called “moderates,” was because such “moderates” never existed in any significant manner to begin with. While articles like the Daily Beast’s “America’s Allies Are Funding ISIS” now try to portray a divide between US and Persian Gulf foreign policy, from Hersh’s 2007 article and all throughout the past 3 years in Libya and Syria, the goal of raising an army in the name of Al Qaeda has been clearly shared and demonstrably pursued by both the US and its regional partners.

The plan, from the beginning, was to raise an extremist expeditionary force to trigger a regional sectarian bloodbath – a bloodbath now raging across multiple borders and set to expand further if decisive action is not taken.

Iran Must Avoid America’s “Touch of Death” and Sectarian War at All Costs

Despite an open conspiracy to drown the region in sectarian strife, the US now poses as a stakeholder in Iraq’s stability. Having armed, funded, and assisted ISIS into existence and into northern Iraq itself, the idea of America “intervening” to stop ISIS is comparable to an arsonist extinguishing his fire with more gasoline. Reviled across the region, any government – be it in Baghdad, Tehran, or Damascus – that allies itself with the US will be immediately tainted in the minds of forces forming along both sides of this artificially created but growing sectarian divide. Iran’s mere consideration of joint-operations with the US can strategically hobble any meaningful attempts on the ground to stop ISIS from establishing itself in Iraq and using Iraqi territory to launch attacks against both Tehran and Damascus.

Any Iranian assistance to Iraq should be given only under the condition that the US not intervene in any manner. Iran’s main concern should be portraying the true foreign-funded nature of ISIS, while uniting genuine Sunni and Shia’a groups together to purge what is a foreign invasion of Iraqi territory. Iran must also begin allaying fears among Iraq’s Sunni population that Tehran may try to use the current crisis to gain further influence over Baghdad.

While the US downplays the sectarian aspects of ISIS’ invasion of Iraq before global audiences, its propaganda machine across the Middle East, assisted by Doha and Riyadh, is stoking sectarian tensions. The ISIS has committed itself to a campaign of over-the-top sectarian vitriol and atrocities solely designed to trigger a wider Sunni-Shia’a conflict. That the US created ISIS and it is now in Iraq attempting to stoke a greater bloodbath with its already abhorrent invasion, is precisely why Tehran and Baghdad should take a cue from Damascus, and disassociate itself from the West, dealing with ISIS themselves.

Two days ago, before it was formalized that the US tacitly, if not explicitly, now supports the removal of the Iraqi Prime Minister whom it itself had helped elect, we summarized the geopolitical tensions and “national interests” in Iraq, which is shaping up to be a proxy war that makes last year’s Syrian escapade pale by comparison, as follows:

The situation in Iraq, already a jumble of domestic sectarian violence, is now pitting virtually all major (and regional) international players against each other as well. There is:

US which tacitly supports Iran intervention in the region, but may have suddenly cooled in its support of Maliki despite sending naval and troop forces in the country after partially evacuating its embassy
Saudi Arabia which wants to remain friendly with the US but is antagonistic to the Iraq regime, is potentially aiding the ISIS forces, and clearly refuses to allow Iran entrance in Iraq
Iran, which has suddenly become America’s best friend in the region, which is willing to enter Iraq and protect its holy sites
Syria, whose president is sitting back amused at last year’s failed campaign by the US to remove him from power, and whose army is at a stalemate with the local US-armed and funded rebels
Qatar, which is supporting the Syrian rebels, but so far has not made its stance clear on Iraq. Like Saudi, it too may be indirectly backing ISIS
Jordan, which is a close friend the US, and which may have hosted ISIS in a secret base on its territory with the US instructing the jihadist group according to an unconfirmed report
Turkey, which is on constant alert to Kurdish escalation across the border, the same Kurds which now have far more leverage courtesy of ISIS crushing the Iraq army in the north and handing over Kurds access to oil fields in the north.
And of course Russia: because while Putin clearly benefits from rising crude prices, it is his Lukoil that is developing (and investing vast amounts of money in) the vast Iraqi West Qurna-2 oil field. It is not clear how he would feel about it falling into ISIS hands.
It was the bolded text that was of biggest interest because as we noted the next day, when discussing the next steps for ISIS, we said that “One wonders how long until the mercenary force finds its latest major backer, because for all the western, US-led intervention, both Russia and China are oddly missing from the scene. We expect that to change soon.”

Because clearly one can’t have a global proxy war without China, and certainly without Russia.

Well, we said we expected Russia’s conspicuous absence to “change soon”, and so it did: within just 24 hours. Because apparently all Putin was waiting for was for Obama to pick sides (i.e., not Maliki) before the Russian leader made it clear whom he sides with. US, helpfully obliged yesterday morning when we also reported that “US Slams Its Former Iraq Puppet: “The Maliki Government, Candidly, Has Got To Go“.”

So what does Putin – who as a reminder is heavily invested in Iraq’ massive West Qurna-2 oil field via Lukoil - do? Why announce his undying support for Maliki, of course, and as AP reported, the former KGB spy offered Iraqi premier Nuri al-Maliki Russia’s total backing for the fight against fighters who have swept across the country, as well as his full support for the embattled prime minister.

Russian President Vladimir Putin has spoken by phone to Iraqi Prime Minister Nouri al-Maliki, expressing Moscow’s support for his action against the militant offensive.

The Kremlin said in a statement that al-Maliki informed Putin on Friday about his government’s steps to combat the “terrorist groups in the north of the country.” It added that the insurgency threatens security of the entire region.

Putin confirmed Russia’s “full support for the Iraqi government’s action to quickly free the territory of the republic from terrorists,” the Kremlin said, adding that Putin and al-Maliki also discussed bilateral cooperation.

Putin’s expression of support for the embattled Iraqi prime minister comes as al-Maliki’s rivals have mounted a campaign to force him out of office, with some angling for support from Western backers and regional heavyweights.

And just like in Syria from 2012 to 2013, the chessboard is once again set, with a regional middle-east conflict, this time in Iraq, merely serving as the proxy staging ground in which the Iraqi PM, once an obedient US puppet but now an enemy of Saudi Arabia and thus the US, “simply has to go” in the words of Dianne Feinstein, has suddenly become the fulcrum issue behind yet another soon to escalate conflict between Russia and the US.

One thing is certain: the more the US (and Saudi Arabia, and Qatar) pushes for Maliki’s ouster, the more involved Russia will become with its offers of support and bilateral cooperation. And if the Syrian fiasco (for John Kerry) is any indication, Russia is about to expand its “national interest” sphere of influence by one more country.

Is Iraq being suddenly invaded by waves of “terrorists”? Or Iraq been deliberately sabotaged, sacrificed, and destroyed?

The mainstream corporate media portrays it as a “terrorist insurgency”of Sunni “extremists” that has, seemingly overnight, overtaken the country. The Obama administration is depicted as having been “caught off guard”. If Iraq is lost, according to these narratives, then all of America’s “gains” will be “squandered”.

In fact, what is engulfing the region is a massive CIA operation, a geostrategic plan long in the making: drown the region in sectarian war, a gigantic regional bloodbath, with multiple destabilizations and deliberate stoking of sectarian violence across multiple borders, to completely redraw the map of the Middle East and Central Asia, and beyond.

The US is playing all sides of this exploding conflict, towards larger US/NATO objectives.

The invading force, ISIS, is a creation of the US CIA and oil-soaked US allies Saudi Arabia, Kuwait and Qatar.It is an Al-Qaeda front. Al-Qaeda has been the military-intelligence arm of the CIA since the Cold War. ISIS is the Anglo-American empire’s leading military-intelligence army in its ongoing war against Syria.

Evidence strongly points to a deliberate retreat by US and Iraqi forces that allowed the ISIS to take Mosul, Tikrit, Fallujah, and furthermore allowed them to take American weapons and equipment that were “magically” left for them in large supply.ISIS has now taken control of the Baji oil refinery north of Baghdad, giving them a source of fuel and a potentially lucrative source of income. The Sunnis, including Saddam Hussein loyalists, are “back”.

In horrifically surreal fashion, the coming military spectacle could pit US military forces using drones and air strikes on behalf of the al-Malaki Shi’ite regime against the CIA’s own ISIS Sunni forces possessing US weapons and equipment. Destruction and lies will leave millions of Iraqis dead, the country devastated.

For what purpose?

Iraq is being re-invaded and re-destroyed, to be transformed into something along the lines of the original Bush/Cheney plan, which called for it to be partitioned along sectarian lines, leaving key oil and gas production in the South in the hands of Western-allied corporations. The plan has never been for a stable Iraq, but a malleable one. Merely a step towards something bigger.

Having previously failed at toppling Damascus with an Al-Qaeda “freedom fighting” insurgency,the CIA’s is redirecting and redeploying its proxies. The ISIS is now greatly strengthened and better armed. It enjoys logistical advantages from bases in both Syria and newly captured Iraqi territory. It is now situated to surround and exert pressure on both Syria and Iran.

Regional destabilization

The goal is to set off sectarian violence across the region on such a scale that it will be difficult to contain, impossible to ignore. Stage these horrific atrocities on the doorstep of targeted nations, and those governments are drawn into quagmires that they cannot hope to avoid. And then these governments weaken and fall. The model is well known and has been used in virtually every imperial conquest in recent decades, from the Balkans to the Middle East to Africa. And Ukraine. The goal is to set off violence (sectarian, racial, between political factions, etc.) on such a scale that it will be difficult to contain, impossible to ignore; drawn into quagmires that they cannot hope to avoid.

The familiar pattern: The “restoration of order” in newly opened territory comes next,either militarily or under the guise of humanitarian assistance. Puppet regimes are installed. Corporations, under the guise of “rebuilding” and “investment”, taking control of, among other things, oil and gas, and more importantly geography used for bases— from which to launch future military-intelligence operations.

Events in Iraq could mark the beginning of a much wider apocalypse. According to Michel Chossudovsky, the longstanding US agenda is to carve up both Iraq and Syria into three separate territories: a Sunni Islamist Caliphate, an Arab Shia Republic, and a Republic of Kurdistan. Iraq will be eliminated as a country entirely. The entire region is threatened.

Lies and ambivalence

Within US borders, brain dead disinterest reigns. The vast majority of Americans does not know, and do not care what is unfolding. The average citizen may react tosocial issues such as marriage equality or racism in sports (which the powers that be consider minor and unimportant), but remains oblivious about larger threats to all of humanity, including them, and war that continues to use American lives as cannon fodder. The American masses have not awakened, no matter what facts have been amply exposed.The propaganda narrative of the 9/11 false flag operation is firmly implanted, perhaps eternally: America is at war against “the terrorists who attacked us on 9/11” and “we have to defend freedom”.

The political left (co-opted in large part by COINTELPRO-style activities) chases its own tail, accepting the consensus narratives out of Washington, occasionally fretting about limited views such as “blowback”, eager to believe in Washington’s “bumbling innocence”, swallowing virtually all of the red herrings easily.

In corrupt Washington, the scene is beyond Orwellian. Propaganda and lies are the order of the day. The inner circle is aware of what is transpiring, but partisan bickering and grandstanding persist. The corporate media refuses to report facts, and repeats tired propaganda. The “war on terrorism” is alive and well.

Senator Dianne Feinstein is warning of “devastating consequences” of “Sunni forces on the march” without mentioning the fact that the US is behind it. She is calling for “both sides (Democrats and Republicans) to come together”.

It is no coincidence that John McCain, a leading figure who openly supports Al-Qaeda terrorists and clandestine atrocities, is front and center once again. He is now spewing blasts of spitting anger over the administration’s “bungling” of Iraq:

“Everybody in his (Obama’s) national security team, including the chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, ought to be replaced. It’s a colossal failure.”

McCain is calling for immediate military attacks (while probably applauding the Obama administration’s actual activities). This is the same McCain who is directly involved in arming Al-Qaeda terrorists in Libya and Syria. There is little doubt that McCain, who cannot get enough of the CIA’s Al-Qaeda “freedom fighters”, also approves of ISIS.

McCain’s good friend and fellow war monger, Senator Lindsey Graham (R-SC) also wants immediate air strikes and is pushing the idea that the “next 9/11 is in the making”.

Is Obama “failing”?

What of Obama? Now that he is a lame duck president, with no more re-election politics and image fakery to worry about, Obama and his national security apparatus seems to be moving on two fronts, one real, the other propaganda. The administration is pushing Ukraine/Syria/Iraq/Iran aggression on a new scale, going for broke to meet long-held goals (the realpolitik), while sacrificing itself politically (the propaganda narrative).

Politically, is Obama “falling on the sword”? In appearance, like every president before him, Obama is being ushered out as a foreign policy failure in his final years, in order to pave the way for his successor. If he fails to “restore order”, Obama will go out as the man who “lost Iraq”, “left Iraq too soon”, failed to stop terrorists, failed to get rid of Assad, failed to get Iran, etc. Obama is being blamed for the “political paralysis” of the Malaki government. The administration, and the likely Democratic nominee for the presidency, former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, have already been tainted and compromised as the “ones who lost Benghazi” and covered it up.

Regardless of the fact that Obama has improved upon the murderous Anglo-American geostrategy that Bush/Cheney began (Obama hasexponentially ratcheted up aggression while still maintaining a broadly appealing political cover), a rightward shift—back towards Bush/Cheney—in America may be next; the same kind of “disaffection-fueled” right-wing fascism that is sweeping Europe, and exemplified by neo-Nazi Ukraine.

A more openly brutal White House occupant will be needed for the next stage of world war, and control over dissent within US borders.

Someone like Jeb Bush, with a cabinet of former Bush/Cheney Republican war criminals crawling back out of the woodwork.

Threat to the future of humanity

The American empire continues to wage total war, using all means necessary, to take and control the Eurasian subcontinent, all the way to Russia and China.

This holocaust is of a scope and scale beyond comprehension. Events in Iraq, Syria and Iran go hand in hand with events in Ukraine, towards a single desperate global agenda. At stake is control of the world’s remaining oil and gas, pipelines and energy transport routes as the planet lurches towards depletion in a few decades.

The world hurtles towards the brink of nuclear holocaust.

Unfolding events in Iraq are not the result of “intelligence failures” but, like 9/11 and other atrocities, another planned intelligence operation that appears to be succeeding in horrific fashion.

АМЕРИЧКИ војни авиони укључили су се у унутарирачки рат. У 13:45 по багдадском времену тукли су позиције снага Исламске државе.

Пентагон је тим поводом саопштио: „Два авиона F/A-18 бацили су бомбе од 500 фунти са ласерским навођењем на циљ на мобилна артиљеријска оруђа око града Ербила. Екстремисти су тим оруђима тукли положаје курдских снага које бране Ербил у којем се налази и персонал САД“.

Дозволу за напад дао је Барак Обама, а непосредну команду за ударе издао је начелник Централне команде Оружаних снага САД.

Ирачки инфо-портал Шафак-њус објавио је да је данас деловала и ирачка војна авијација која је у провинцијама Најнава и Салах-ед-Дин уништила око 550 бојовника Исламске државе која држи добар део севера и северозапада Ирака.

Због чега твз влада Американаца лажу цео време око Ирака.....је тешко видити било шта у овој акцији него још нека превара......

Али ово бекако све иде на пут балканизације средног истока.....што овсте није било које политике него Израелска!
