Some important questions need to be asked with reference to the sacrifice of Obrenovac.
If the so called "professionals" and "Experts" of Serbia, be they officials/"experts" from the ministry of environment, meteorologists, hydrologists, government institutions for crisis management, local councils and their relevant associations/bodies.....ARE TO BE BELIEVED!
Then all these institutions should be aware of the floods levels in all of Serbia!
There should have computer models that illustrate the volume capacities of all its rivers, regardless of how large or small.
The country's computer models, should have an infinite number of water and flooding scenarios......with the worst case scenario being that the whole of Serbia is completely flooded with all its dams, and barriers impregnated.
Part of of this flood modelling would have been the scenario of other barriers and dams broken, in other parts of the Helm Peninsula, that could effect Serbia rivers, or those areas where there is Serbian inhabitation.
If these actual experts really know their job, then they would have a digitalised database library, identifying all structures within the country. Conducted at a government and local level, identifying of the condition its barriers, its dams, culverts, its flood plains, the high risk areas that are prone to flooding, and identifying the housing within these areas.
"In fact these "EXPERTS", would be giving regular advice to government/ local government on building in flood plain areas. In fact planning laws should exist, preventing the building on flood plains. Or requiring certain types of houses to be built there. If there was government policy to expand the urban environment into flood plains, then regulations should have existed that required the building of flood protection within the original schemes.
So these experts with their computerised modelling, should know precisely:-
The quantity of water per hour for its rivers to flood, regardless where they may be!
These experts and their government authorities should know precisely, when their rivers are approaching risk levels:
These experts and their government authorities should have an information process and alert system, using all available media. Including requiring ISP's and mobile phone companies to directly send text's messages to all those in the locality.
So the question has to be asked at what point did the government know that Obrenovac/Doboj was going to be at extreme risk of substantial flooding?
Due to the gross incompetence of the ruling authorities and their "experts", we know have dead citizens!
Apart from a murder inquiry.....which has been pre-emptied by government with its immediate compensation.
Its quite clearly time that the citizens of Serbia, start asking some serious questions about the competence of its "experts".
PS. There has been a number of significant/extreme weather and mini disasters in the past 25 years. A competent government would have an institution, not only to study this phenomena, but have computerised models and scenarios, identifying them, showing their effects, and the provisions needed to taken and quietly implemented to minimise their impact and damage!

Sajtovi nestaju samo tako kao i informacije.
Čitam za dečko što je uhapšen za "širenje panike preko fejsbuka" ima 20 godina, iz zezanja na fejsu u nekom komentaru napisao da je čuo da je u Obrenovcu 300 mrtvih. Kada su ga uhapsili smestili ga u ćeliju sa ubicama i narkomanima. Kada su ga ovi iz ćelije pitali zašto je završio na robiji, ovaj "odgovara zbog statusa na Fejsbuku" ovi u smeh...Jbt napišeš status na tviteru ili fejsu i pravac robija sa ubicama i narkomanima...UDBA je za našeg Vučka malo dete....

Не мора да значи, у мом месту од 6.000 становника дешавало се да умре по 7-8 за неколико дана.

Nešto mi taj broj veliki za Obrenovac, za tako kratko vreme umre toliki broj ljudi priordnom smrću...

Али у критичним ситуацијама многи људи умру "природном смрћу" јер нпр. срчане болеснике удари срце од страха и слично, зато више људи умире природном смрћу током таквих ситуација, и у рату више људи у просјеку умире природном смрћу него у миру, посебно старији који се разболе и умру због бриге јер су им дјеца на ратишту.
