Royal Couple bring aid to victims of floods sheltered in Belgrade Arena
Belgrade, 22 May 2014 – Their Royal Highnesses Crown Prince Alexander II and Crown Princess Katherine visited the victims of floods temporarily sheltered in the Belgrade Arena Stadium this afternoon. They brought water and fruit, and distributed them to citizens of Obrenovac who are accommodated in the Arena after the disastrous floods that destroyed their city.
Their Royal Highnesses spoke with the citizens of Obrenovac, elderly and children and encouraged them to be patient and hope that they will return home soon. They met with Mr Srdjan Djokovic, father of the famous Serbian tennis player and representative of his humanitarian Foundation, who was also at the Arena distributing humanitarian aid to victims of the floods.
Crown Prince Alexander and Crown Princess Katherine send aid to the Republic of Srpska
Belgrade, May 21, 2014 - Their Royal Highnesses Crown Prince Alexander and Crown Princess Katherine, in cooperation with Mr Mladjen Cicovic, the director of the Republic of Srpska Office in Belgrade, and in coordination with the National Crisis Committee in Banja Luka, sent a shipment of humanitarian aid to the citizens of the Republic of Srpska who have suffered great devastation caused by the floods.
The aid sent to the citizens of the Republic of Srpska by Their Royal Highnesses Crown Prince Alexander II and Crown Princess Katherine consists of:
