“24 Hours of Elegance” officially opens at the White Palace
Belgrade, 5 September 2014 - “24 Hours of Elegance” officially opened tonight at the White Palace, under auspices of Their Royal Highnesses Hereditary Prince Peter, Prince Philip and Prince Alexander. Belgrade is hosting “24 Hours of Elegance - Concours d’ Elegance & Salon of Excellence” for the fourth time. A three day spectacle addressing car culture, refinement and quality, September 5-7.
Mr Predrag Markovic, member of the Crown Council addressed the guests on behalf of His Royal Highness Crown Prince Alexander II, and read a welcoming note from the Crown Prince:
“We are very proud that ‘24 Hours of Elegance’ is taking place at the White and the Royal Palace for the fourth time. It is not just a promotion of the most famous world brands present here tonight, but it is at the same time a promotion of Belgrade and Serbia. I hope that this event will bring new businesses for our and international companies”.
This exclusive event has been organized under auspices of Their Royal Highnesses Princes Peter, Philip and Alexander, in cooperation with Grand Casino Belgrade and long-term partners Serbian Association of historic vehicles, with great support from the Car Museum, and in cooperation with Tourist Organization of Belgrade (TOB).
24 Hours of Elegance is reviewing top brands that are marked by ultimate quality and mastery in details, will present unforgeable experience to guests and give them an opportunity to share their passion in classical cars, elegance, style and refinement.
The gathering started on Friday, September 5 at the White Palace with the official opening of the unique exhibition of Maison CIFONELLI historic men collection and gentlemen’s shoes collection by CORTHAY, Paris. Famous author Hugo Jacomet will present his book “The Parisian Gentleman” during the evening. TAG Heuer will present their Haute Horlogerie collection, with Romain Cans and Bertrand Dolci from TAG Heuer Switzerland headquarters.
The special guest will be renowned Rene Caovilla brand, who will present their shoes in Belgrade after the Guggenheim exhibit. Guests will have an opportunity to see cars from the world-famous Milan car collection, products of Carrozzeria Touring Superleggera, parked in front of the White Palace, with Aston Martin DB5, Lamborghini 400 GT, Alfa Romeo 2300 and many others.
The Gala dinner with humanitarian auction was organized afterwards, with presentation of STEFAN HAFNER jewelry, and My7Ways, Astrid Beerkens from Amsterdam fragrance collection. All money raised will be donated to the Crown Princess Katherine Foundation for helping children without parents.
