Crown Prince at a Reception for Europe Day at the City Hall of Belgrade

Belgrade, 7 May 2015 – His Royal Highness Crown Prince Alexander attended a reception on the occasion of Europe Day hosted by HE Mr Michael Davenport, Head of Delegation of the European Commission in Serbia, today at the City Hall of Belgrade.

Europe Day is an annual celebration of peace and unity in Europe. There are two separate designations of Europe Day: 5 May for the Council of Europe, and 9 May for the European Union (EU).

The ceremony was attended by HE Mrs Maja Gojkovic, Speaker of the Parliament of Serbia, HE Mrs Kori Udovicki, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Public Administration and Local Self-Government, HE Mr Zeljko Sertic, Minister of Economy, HE Mrs Snezana Bogosavljevic – Boskovic, Minister of Agriculture and Environmental Protection, Chief of Staff of the Army of Serbia Gen. Ljubisa Dikovic, former President of Serbia Mr Boris Tadic, former Prime minister of Serbia Mr Zoran Zivkovic, president of Serbian renewal movement Mr Vuk Draskovic, Mr Johannes Hahn, Commissioner for European Neighborhood Policy & Enlargement, His Excellency Monsignor Stanislav Hocevar, Roman Catholic Metropolitan and Archbishop of Belgrade, Muhamed ef. Jusufspahic, chief Mufti of Serbia and Imam of Belgrade, members of diplomatic corps, and many other distinguished guests.
