His Royal Highness Crown Prince Alexander accompanied by Mr. Predrag Markovic, member of the Crown Council, visited today the Historical Museum of Serbia’s exhibition “Pupin – from physical to spiritual reality” set by Aleksandra Ninkovic Tasic, who along with Dr. Dusica Bojic, the Museum’s director, hosted His Royal Highness and Mr. Markovic and guided them through this fantastic exhibition.
The exhibition “Pupin – from physical to spiritual reality” is actually the first museum exhibition in Serbia to use modern technology in order to make each of its segments interactive, and, for the first time in Serbian museology, introduces interactive glasses. For the first time are displayed Pupin’s legacies and so far unknown archive materials with a large number of documents, such as secret FBI files. The visitors can get acquainted with a number of unknown facts about the private life of this great scientist. Parts of the exhibition are devoted to his scientific, but also literary work, for which he received the Pulitzer Prize, to his engagement in helping Serbia during World War Two, his secret work for the United States Army, numerous charities and patronages of art.
Crown Prince Alexander congratulated the exhibition’s author Ms. Aleksandra Ninkovic Tasic and the director of the Historical Museum of Serbia Dr Dusica Bojic for such an extraordinary setting. His Royal Highness urges all citizens to visit this great exhibition that will be open until the end of June.
