Royal Couple hosted in Serbian Bar Association of America in Chicago

Their Royal Highnesses Crown Prince Alexander and Crown Princess Katherine were the guests of honor at a reception hosted by the Serbian Bar Association of America at the Gallery at Green River in Chicago.
SBAA president Marko Duric welcomed Their Royal Highnesses to the reception and introduced Lifeline Chicago Vice President, Milena T Bajich, PsyD, who spoke about Lifeline’s 23 year connection to the American Serbian community in Chicago and the Midwest. Dr Bajich introduced HRH Crown Prince Alexander to the assembled guests, who listened intently to his remarks before introducing HRH Crown Princess Katherine to address the group.
Princess Katherine spoke with passion about the continuing need for medical and social programs that address the needs of the most underserved, vulnerable populations in Serbia. Her Royal Highness believes that there are no borders when it comes to human suffering.
All the attendees were very encouraged and honored to attend this reception at Gallery at Green River, where all together they were discussed wider humanitarian cooperation. Following the formal remarks, Their Royal Highnesses engaged in discussions with individuals and small groups about specific humanitarian efforts in Serbia and how they can get involved with the foundation and Lifeline going forward.

The mission of the SBAA is to maintain and advance the honor and dignity of the legal profession, especially amongst lawyers of Serbian ancestry.
Royal Couple hosted in Milwaukee, Wisconsin

Their Royal Highnesses Crown Prince Alexander and Crown Princess Katherine were the guests of the St. Sava Serbian Orthodox Cathedral parish in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. The visit and reception were arranged by Cathedral Dean, Very Rev. Dragan Veleusic, and prominent members of the Serbian community.
The purpose of the entire Royal Visit was to recognize the contributions of Serbian community leaders, as well as leading nonprofit organizations, such as Lifeline Chicago committed to organizing and supporting relief efforts that reduce and relieve the suffering of the most disadvantaged and underserved populations in Serbia.
The Royal Midwest Tour is managed by the Lifeline Humanitarian Organization – Chicago office, operating under the patronage of Her Royal Highness Crown Princess Katherine.
During their weeklong visit, Their Royal Highnesses were also received at St. Lazarus Serbian Orthodox Cathedral in Detroit, Michigan, and at the St. Sava Academy School and Holy Resurrection Serbian Orthodox Cathedral in Chicago. They will be the honored guests of the Serbian Bar Association of America on Thursday, also in Chicago.
On Friday, the Royal Couple will visit the museum at St. Sava Serbian Orthodox Church in Merrillville, Indiana, and attend dinner with golfers and guests following the First Charity Golf Outing sponsored by Lifeline-Chicago. The event is designed to raise awareness and gain support for the ongoing medical and humanitarian needs of the Serbian people.
In Milwaukee, the Royal Couple toured the cathedral and surrounding grounds prior to a well-attended dinner reception inside the St. Sava Cultural Center.
Lifeline Chicago has been serving the needy for over 23 years. They are a 501c3 not-for-profit corporation, staffed entirely by volunteers.
