Описан је детаљно и у књизи "Два метка за Павелића", где је Питерсон наведен као члан савезничке мисије.
Код Јововића су додуше неки детаљи прескочени.

Не помиње комунистиче спасиоце пилота код којих су обитавале све војне мисије... мора да је сведочио под старост па му из памети изветрели мали Јожа,Бевц и Коча ђилкош спачек.
Za Britance i Komonvelt nemam potpune podatke. Imam dokumenta za oko 150 spasenih, a uz druge izvore mislim da ih je ukupno oko 200 evakuisano. Od tog broja, nekih 7 avijatičara od četnika, i još desetak koji su od četnika prebačeni partizanima.

Годишњица Мисије “Халјард“: Не помињи четнике, Удба је иза ћошка!
У Прањанима је данас традиционално обележена годишњица Мисије “Халјард“ и традиционално на исти начин: не помињати Дражу и четнике, иако су они били главни у тој операцији.
